The funny thing is, before I even read your comment I this immediately reminded me of some sort of fairy or nymph gliding through a forest! So great job, got your message across!
What I love about this the most is that the subject isn't front in center, she is hidden within. This makes her somewhat mysterious and almost surreal. It gives the whole piece a very gentle and soothing feel which works wonderfully.
The muted colours also offer the sense that this is of another world or time. I find often when people try to photograph nature and convince us it's not earth, it can be very obvious and not real. Yet here with only very very subtle change you've made this appear other worldly.
I think It's a beautiful picture. It certainly tells a story. Great job!
